Eu Ainda Choro: A Bilingual Haiku on Love and Grief

A bilingual haiku in Portuguese and English — three lines on the heart that holds love and grief in the same hand, and why that capacity matters.

Another small one in two languages. Different shape, same root.

Meu coração é
Amor e alma sempre
Eu ainda choro

My heart is
Love and soul always
I still cry

Crying isn’t a failure. The capacity to still cry, after everything, is the same capacity that lets you still feel the rest of it. Don’t lose either.
