Faith Is Hard to Keep: A Haiku on Doubt
A haiku on faith and doubt — three lines for the days when belief asks more of you than the day has, and not-knowing is the whole point.
A haiku. The honest version of religious experience, written by someone who’s still figuring it out.
Believe in Divine
For I know not what is true
Faith is hard to keep
The not-knowing isn’t the absence of faith. It’s the actual condition of it. Faith without doubt isn’t faith — it’s just confidence. The poem is for the harder kind.
